DON'TS
A few Not-To-Do's and everything should go smoothly:
Don't hit the actors hard. Simple taps with the boffers is enough to denote a strike. Don't hit anyone in the head or groin. That's just not nice. Don't put any of the props in your mouth. You don't know what's on it/in it so don't do it. Don't steal any of the props.- We are constantly trying to make the game better, and by stealing props, only sets us back. These are props that other groups will also be using, and that would in turn take away from them also. - If you are stealing out of anger; there was something you didn't like about the game or someone made you angry; PLEASE DO talk to the staff about it, we want to the game to be an enjoyable experience for every player, and if you didn't have fun, help us make it so you can have fun in the future!
AND PLEASE DON'T CHEAT - If you know what's going to happen because you overhead staff, talked to a previous group, or played the scenario before, don't ruin it! We will try to keep things fun and interesting, but that isn't any fun with a cheater in the group. If you are on your death count, DON'T call attention to yourself or tell another player; you are considered to be unconcious and communicating to your group is considered CHEATING. Not taking damage if you were properly hit (especially on multiple occassions) is considered cheating and will be addressed to you during the game if it becomes a problem.- ANY TYPE OF CHEATING may be reason for dismissal of the game.FINALLY : Don't mind any of the staff that have their hands over their heads. They are just trying to get from point A to point B.
